Description
Salted Caramel Apple Pie Cheesecake combines a spiced apple layer, creamy cheesecake, and salted caramel drizzle in one festive dessert.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1 1/4 cups granulated sugar (divided)
- 6 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 24 oz cream cheese, softened
- 3 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 3 cups peeled and sliced apples
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 tsp sea salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325°F. Mix graham crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Press into pan and bake 10 minutes.
- Toss apples with brown sugar, cinnamon, and flour. Spread over crust.
- Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add eggs, vanilla, and sour cream. Pour over apples.
- Bake 60–70 minutes. Cool fully, chill 4+ hours, top with salted caramel before serving.
Notes
- Use a water bath to prevent cracking.
- Make caramel slowly over medium heat.
- Chill cheesecake well before topping.
