Description

This patriotic slushy mocktail is the perfect red, white, and blue layered drink for 4th of July celebrations. Made with just four simple ingredients, it’s a fun, non-alcoholic option that everyone can enjoy from kids to adults. Thanks to its refreshing flavor, easy prep, and eye-catching layers, it’s sure to become your go-to summer party drink. Whether you’re hosting a barbecue, picnic, or fireworks night, this vibrant mocktail adds festive flair to your table.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Red Hawaiian Punch (chilled)
  • 2 cups Lemonade (chilled)
  • 2 cups Blue Hawaiian Punch (chilled)
  • 3 cups Ice Cubes

Instructions

  1. Fill each glass one-third full with ice cubes.
  2. Slowly pour the red Hawaiian Punch into the bottom of the glass. Stop when it reaches the first third.
  3. Add another layer of ice to create a buffer between colors.
  4. Carefully pour the lemonade over the back of a spoon, allowing it to rest gently above the red layer.
  5. Add more ice to bring the level near the top of the glass.
  6. Gently add the blue Hawaiian Punch as the final layer, again pouring over the back of a spoon.
  7. Serve immediately with a festive straw or fruit garnish.

Notes

  • Chill all liquids before layering to help maintain separation.
  • Pouring over a spoon slows the flow and prevents colors from mixing.
  • For a sugar-free version, use low-sugar or zero-sugar alternatives.
  • Want to make it a cocktail? Add vodka or coconut rum to each layer in small amounts.
  • For a natural version, swap in pomegranate juice, fresh lemonade, and spirulina-blueberry juice.
