Ingredients
- 4g ceremonial-grade matcha (sifted)
- 100ml full-fat coconut milk (chilled)
- 200ml coconut water (chilled)
- Ice (enough to fill half your glass)
- Optional: ¼ tsp matcha powder for garnish
Instructions
- Sift 4g of ceremonial matcha into a small bowl to remove clumps.
- Add 100ml chilled full-fat coconut milk.
- Use an electric milk frother or whisk to whip the mixture for 30–60 seconds, until thick, airy, and creamy.
- Fill a tall glass halfway with ice.
- Pour 200ml of chilled coconut water over the ice, filling about ⅔ of the glass.
- Gently spoon or pour the whipped matcha mixture on top to create a layered effect.
- Optionally, dust a small amount of matcha powder on top for garnish.
- Serve immediately. Stir before drinking and enjoy the creamy matcha fusion.
Notes
- For a sweeter version, add 1–2 teaspoons of maple syrup to the whipped mixture.
- Oat milk (barista-style) can substitute coconut milk for a lighter foam.
- This drink is best consumed fresh before the foam starts settling.
- For visual impact, pour the whipped layer gently over the back of a spoon.
