Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted & browned
  • 2 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg

  • 2 cups chopped Honeycrisp apples
  • 1 tbsp butter (for apples)
  • 6 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 4 tbsp butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 3 tbsp maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and brown the butter until nutty.
  2. Sauté chopped apples with butter and cinnamon until soft.

  4. Bake 35–40 minutes, cool, frost with maple cream cheese frosting, and cut into squares.

Notes

  • For best results, weigh flour instead of scooping. Store frosted blondies in the fridge for up to 5 days. Unfrosted blondies can be frozen.
